OQ: Why did September 11th bring national unity but the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t?
There are very few Republicans in the party with ethics and morals, so the only thing left in the GOP are right-wing extremists’ nut jobs. They are trying to divide and conquer America with far-out lies, antics, and gaslighting. I would never have voted for George Bush because I have a brain and can think for myself. George Bush united this country after 9–11, and all Americans were our brothers and sisters. Bush was not a Trumper, and he had some decency & ethics. Also, George Bush took this country to war in Iraq with zero weapons of mass destruction, and Bush was a warmonger.
For the record, the U.S. should have never been at war in the Middle East just like the U.S. should have never been at war in Vietnam. The United States is not the world police. Some of us feel the United States has no business interfering in other countries when the U.S. violates human and civil rights at home.
Trump became president by lying and asking Russia for help. Can you imagine how Regan was rolling over in his grave when TFG took office by receiving assistance from Russia.? Trump came into office as an alleged rapist, a pedophile, and a DIVIDER. Trump empowered the racists to come out of the closet, and now they will not go back into the closet.

Trump was the worst person to handle the pandemic, and he destroyed vital ecological protections, so it might take centuries to reverse the damage that Trump has caused to this planet. Trump deregulated and stripped Alaska’s Tongass National Forest which is considered the lung of America. Trump incited an insurrection and called for Mike Pence’s hanging. Trump is now facing countless lawsuits, and he will never, never, ever, ever be president again. To answer your question, Trump never intended to unite this country. The country’s riches were only supposed to go to his family and his cronies. It is called Nepotism.
