This war was started because someone at that table told him, “Sir, you cannot be ousted as long as there is a war going on.” His whole existence is to duck and dodge the inevitable. He knows he cannot survive this blue wave coming, and he also does not realize there is a Red Wave that has teamed up with the blue to finish him.
You see, the Republican power now realizes that if they finish him, he cannot fire them anymore, he cannot berate them anymore. They are trying to save their very lives among their constituents.
