Why when MAGA held an insurrection in Jan 6th republicans said it was just a protest, and now that Trump is being investigated by FBI republicans are calling this a “banana republic move”? Isn’t an insurrection exactly that?

There’s no shortage of hypocrisy among the republicans. They are starting to sound more like 6-year-olds making rubber and glue arguments and it’s just not working for them. Not only is trying to overthrow the government “banana republic” stuff but it appears republicans have forgotten a few facts about the FBI and they maybe need a little bit of a refresher…

To quote a memorable line from the movie A Few Good Men, “You can’t handle the truth” and therein lies the problem with today’s GQP.
